Why does my Roger Technology gate lose its position after a power cut?

Operators that rely on an encoder track the gate position electronically. A sudden power loss, or a battery that fails to carry the cycle, can leave the board unsure where the gate is. It may then move slowly or stop until it relearns the travel.

We check the encoder, the supply and the battery backup, then set the travel again. If it happens often, the supply or the backup battery is the real cause, and it should be addressed.
