This privacy policy Abu Dhabi visitors and clients can read describes how Qasar Al Neil Automatic Doors LLC (Qasar Al Neil Automatic Doors) collects and uses personal data on qnautodoors.net and in our work for Abu Dhabi customers. We aim to comply with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other rules that apply to our activities.
Information we receive
- Contact details you submit through enquiry forms, calls, WhatsApp or email.
- Site details needed to quote, such as the building name, area in Abu Dhabi and photos of an entrance.
- For business clients, company name, job title and facility contacts.
- Website usage data gathered through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
We use personal data to respond to requests, plan surveys, prepare quotations, carry out installation and servicing, and keep maintenance records. We may also send service reminders relating to equipment we installed. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share information only when needed: with our technicians and staff, with suppliers or subcontractors on a specific job, and with providers that host or support our systems. We may also disclose data to authorities where UAE law requires it.
Retention
Records are kept for as long as they are needed for service, warranty, safety follow-up and legal or accounting obligations. We then delete or anonymise them.
Access and other rights
You can ask what personal data we hold, ask us to correct or delete it where the law allows, object to marketing, or withdraw consent you gave. Please write to us via the contact page and mention that your request concerns privacy.
Security and changes
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including limiting access to personal data to staff who need it for their work. Enquiries are stored in our business systems, not published. If our practices change, we will post the updated policy here, and material changes will be shown clearly on this page.
Visitor analytics on this website
To understand which pages help people and which enquiries come from where, we run our own first-party analytics on our own servers. The sections below describe exactly what it does.
Cookies it sets
- vid: a random visitor identifier. It contains no name, phone number or email. It lasts up to 400 days, so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
- sid: a random visit identifier. It expires after 30 minutes without activity.
What it records
- The pages you view, how long you were actively on each page, and how far you scrolled.
- Where you came from: the referring website, the campaign tags in the link you followed, and whether an advertising click identifier was present (we note only that one existed, not its value).
- Which buttons and links you used: call, WhatsApp, quote, menu, product cards, file downloads, and links that leave our site (the destination domain only).
- The steps of our forms: which form you saw, whether you started or sent it, and the name of the last field you reached if you left it unfinished. We never record what you type into a form.
- Repeated rapid clicks on something that does nothing, and page script errors, so we can fix problems.
- Device facts: browser and operating system, screen and window size, language, time zone, connection type, touch support, light or dark mode, and rough memory and processor size. These are coarse and are not used to identify you personally.
- Your IP address, used to work out an approximate city and country. IP addresses are kept for a limited time and then removed.
When you send us an enquiry, we link it to the visit that produced it, so our team can see which page and source led to it.
Your choices
- Where the site asks for cookie consent, this analytics sets no cookie and sends nothing until you accept.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not set these cookies or record your activity. We only keep a basic, cookie-free page view (the page, the time, your browser type, your approximate location from your IP address and where you came from).
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. The site keeps working.
- You can ask us to delete the analytics data linked to you or to an enquiry you sent. Use our contact page and we will remove it.
How long we keep it
The website server keeps its visit log only until it has been copied to our systems, normally within hours, and then deletes it. In our systems, detailed event records are deleted after 180 days, and anonymous visitor profiles that have not returned for 180 days are deleted unless they are tied to an enquiry. We do not sell this data and we do not share it with advertisers. Analytics or advertising tools from other companies, if enabled on the site, are described in the Cookie Policy.
